9-week contract position in Tulsa, Oklahoma at a flu clinic / employee health setting.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 3× 12-hour day shifts (6:00 AM–6:00 PM)
- 36 hours per week guaranteed
Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Administer medications and intramuscular injections as directed
- Record vital signs, medications, medical history, and patient information
- Perform venipuncture and other ancillary services as required
- Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation
- Assist with patient education and wellness activities
- Track tests, referrals, and appointments
- Support care coordination and scheduling
- Follow OSHA, HIPAA, safety, and Health System policies
- Provide excellent patient service and support the Employee Health team
Qualifications
- BLS certification required
- Previous experience administering injections required
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Completion of an approved Medical Assistant program OR 1 year of related experience within the last 5 years may substitute for completion of an approved MA program
- New graduates accepted
- Strong patient-care and communication skills
- Good computer, documentation, and organizational skills
- Local candidates only (non-traveler position)
- Candidates cannot have a medical marijuana card
