About the Role
Screens patients and obtains pertinent information. Assists physician or advanced practitioner during patient visits in accordance with age-specific needs. Supports the physician or advanced practitioner in all aspects of patient care and communication as instructed. Maintains exam rooms and work environment. Provides general support to the clinic as needed.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work environment
- Provide general support to the clinic as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Training program or equivalent experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training required during orientation prior to providing patient care
- Current BLS certification must be maintained for the duration of employment
Qualifications
- Preferred: at least one year of experience in a clinical or physician-office setting, emergency room, or hospital setting that provides patient care
- Preferred: experience in medical office, insurance, referral and prior authorization, hospital, or computer systems
- Experience in office clerical activities is desirable
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
Pay
$15.46–$25.24 per hour, depending on previous work experience.
