About the role

Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, offering a variety of primary care and specialty practices. The scope of work includes being a member of the clinical support team, working closely with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient records and documentation
• Assist with patient examinations and procedures
• Prepare examination rooms and equipment
• Administer medications and treatments under supervision
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and support
• Perform basic laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program
• 1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required within 120 days
• Required certifications within 120 days: AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA), NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
