Medical Assistant Family Med/OBGYN
This position is based at White Sage Clinic in Delta, UT, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8AM to 5PM.

Responsibilities
- Provide patient care under the direction of a clinician by assisting the provider in gathering information relevant to the patient’s visit and condition.
- Communicate clearly with patients through various modalities, including telephone and in-person interactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, with attention to detail and follow-through.
Requirements
- Proof of completion of a Medical Assistant program or at least one year of Medical Assistant work experience or a current active and in good standing RN/LPN license to practice nursing in the state of Utah.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for healthcare providers (must be obtained prior to start date).
- Demonstrated basic computer skills, including word processing and data entry.
- Professional manner with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with patients and fellow caregivers to deliver high levels of customer/patient satisfaction.
- Commitment to protecting privacy, confidentiality, and Protected Health Information (PHI) of patients, members, and caregivers.
Utah Only: If certified with less than one year of MA experience, caregivers may attend a yearlong MA residency program.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an outpatient clinic or other healthcare setting.
- Computer literacy in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other relevant software.
- Current national MA certification from one of the following: Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) of AMT, National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) of the AAMA.
Pay
The hourly range for this position is $20.07 - $28.59, with the actual rate dependent upon experience.
