Responsibilities

• Providing an excellent customer experience in a team‑based environment while assisting in all aspects of medical practice under the direct supervision of a physician or physician assistant.
• Ensuring patient safety.
• Performing phlebotomy.
• Conducting point‑of‑care testing.
• Assisting in minor procedures.
• Processing lab specimens.
• Safely operating medical equipment.
• Providing patient instructions.
• Handling and administering medications according to regulatory standards and organizational policy and procedure under direct supervision.
• Collecting, communicating, and documenting accurate patient information/data.
• Maintaining medical records according to regulatory standards and organizational policies and procedures.
• Coordinating requests for information and prescriptions.
• Maintaining and preparing patient care areas to ensure efficient, effective, and safe patient care delivery.
• Late hours, holidays, and weekends may be required.
