About the role
As a Medical Assistant in Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) at Quincy Medical Group, you will play a key role in supporting patients with a wide range of otolaryngology conditions. Working closely with providers and the care team, you will assist with patient visits, diagnostic testing, procedures, and care coordination while helping ensure an exceptional patient experience.
Primary Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs, medical histories, medication information, and visit details.
- Absorb and relay provider recommendations, test results, and patient education materials.
- Communicate with patients via phone calls, portal messages, and clinical inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record.
- Assist with procedure room preparation, inventory management, and equipment readiness.
- Coordinate referrals, imaging, testing, medication refills, prior authorizations, and follow-up appointments.
- Support patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Travel to outreach clinic locations as needed to support providers and patient care operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CPR certification required (available upon hire).
- Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- Previous clinical experience in a physician office, specialty clinic, or healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to outreach clinic locations required.
- Experience with electronic medical records preferred.

Pay
The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $16.12 - $24.18 per hour, with actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
