Medical Assistant (Dougherty County)

About the role

Clover Health is seeking Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) to join the Clover Care Visit (CCV) team. The role involves delivering high-quality, hands-on care in members' homes, focusing on early intervention and transitional care.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Providers before, during, and after visits to support patient care.
• Help members with translation, gather information, take vitals, and answer questions.
• Perform phlebotomy and other essential medical tasks as directed by the Provider.
• Close care gaps, review consent forms, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Coordinate through electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Maintain medical supplies and ensure smooth, well-prepared visits.
• Support outreach efforts to schedule visits and strengthen patient engagement.
• Drive independently or with the provider to patient visits.

Requirements

• Hold a Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program.
• Have at least 1 year of healthcare experience (home-based care a plus).
• Have a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Be comfortable with basic computer proficiency and documentation in electronic medical records (EMRs).
• Be able to walk up 3 flights of stairs and carry up to 40 lbs. of equipment.
• Be fluent in both English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills (preferred but not required).

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the base hourly rate for this role is (per hour): $22.21—$24.42 USD.

Schedule

This is a full-time, Monday–Friday, field-based role.
