Job Summary
Perform donor selection and blood collection activities under the supervision of an on-site collections supervisor at fixed-sites and mobile operations. All functions are performed in a manner that ensures maintenance of the donor’s well-being and the quality of the blood product while adhering to federal, state and local regulatory guidelines.
Physical Requirements
- Able to stand continuously for a minimum of six hours.
- Able to climb in and out of a van.
- Able to lift 25-30 pounds.
- Good hand and finger dexterity.
- Visual and auditory acuity.
Job Specifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum one year post-secondary education in a health-related field preferred.
- Veterinary Technicians will be considered.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to comprehend and follow written instructions.
- Must have valid drivers’ license and acceptable driving record.
- Able to comply with overnight travel schedule.

Schedule
Monday-Friday schedule
Availability to be scheduled any shift Monday-Friday between the hours of 4:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m.
