Medical Assistant - Dermatology

About the Role

Join our growing Dermatology team as a full-time Medical Assistant. This position involves rooming patients, collecting patient information, preparing patients for examination, and assisting with the overall delivery of patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Columbia Tech Center, 1770 SE Mill Plain Blvd Ste 120, Vancouver, WA 98683.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Completion of one of the following:
  • Combination of experience and training resulting in a nationally recognized MA certification
  • Completion of a formal MA program
  • Formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces
  • EMT training and certification
  • Current Washington State Nursing Assistant-Certification
• Must obtain Washington State Medical Assistant credential within required timeframe and maintain in active status throughout employment
• Current healthcare provider BLS certification
• Experience with an electronic health record (Epic experience strongly preferred)

Pay

Hiring rate is between $20.60-$24.25 per hour, with placement in the range dependent on an evaluation of experience. Active WA State Department of Health Medical Assistant-Certified credential qualifies for a starting rate of $22.25/hour and higher, based on experience. Pay range: $21.81 - $30.53 per hour.

Schedule

Four 10-hour shifts per week, 7am-5:30pm, including a 30-minute lunch. Day off to be determined.

Eligibility for benefits begins on the first of the month following one month of employment. Compensation packages and time off programs vary based on factors such as department, position type, primary work state, and FTE.
