About the role

The Medical Assistant Program at Saint Luke’s Physician Group is designed for individuals looking to gain foundational knowledge in various clinics. Participants will attend a 10-week paid program covering topics such as body systems, pharmacology, medical terminology, lab values, and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Attend in-class didactic content sessions from Week 1-5
• Engage in clinical rotations with instructors from Week 5-8
• Participate in home clinic orientation with a Success Coach during Weeks 9-10

Requirements

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience
• Basic Life Support certification from either the American Heart Association or Red Cross
