Medical Assistant (CMA) - PRN

About the Role

CorrectHealth is a multi-disciplinary medical organization that provides high-quality, cost-effective, comprehensive healthcare inside correctional facilities. Founded by a group of talented ER professionals, we have built our company from the ground up, establishing what we call the "Correct Way" of delivering correctional healthcare. Currently, we serve over 40 correctional facilities across Georgia and Louisiana.

Schedule

This is a PRN (as-needed) position requiring availability for either 12-hour day shifts or 12-hour night shifts in Lawrenceville, GA.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the clinical aspect of patient care alongside the healthcare team and law enforcement.
• Perform duties under the supervision of a Paramedic, LPN, RN, Health Services Administrator (HSA), Health Services Coordinator (HSC), Midlevel Provider, or Physician, adhering to state regulations.
• Provide care to the inmate population and respond to needs within the correctional environment.
• Maintain a professional attitude at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
