Peachtree Immediate Care, Georgia’s leading urgent care provider, is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team at the Douglas location. Schedule
- Part-time position with two 12-hour shifts per week
- Rotating weekends required
- Regional float position covering Douglas, Valdosta, Valdosta West, and Tifton clinics
Responsibilities
- Assist medical providers with patient care, exams, and minor procedures
- Perform vital signs, document patient information, and ensure accurate medical records
- Conduct lab tests, administer medications, and perform wound care as directed
- Maintain exam rooms and medical equipment in a clean, safe condition
- Support occupational health services and radiographic imaging where applicable
- Ensure high levels of patient comfort, answering questions and addressing concerns
- Follow safety and infection control protocols to maintain a healthy environment
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (certification preferred) or licensed as an LPN or EMT
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification (required)
- Reliable transportation to travel between regional locations
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work in a team
- Comfort in a fast-paced urgent care setting with varied medical responsibilities
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in an outpatient or clinical setting
