Medical Assistant (CMA)/Inpatient Care Coordinator
For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering sign-on bonuses for Medical Assistants:
- 0-1 years of experience: $4,000 (full time)
- 1+ years of experience: $5,000 (full time)
Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part-time MA position. Bonus amount is prorated for Part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
About the role
Join our inpatient team at MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital Medicine as an Inpatient Care Coordinator, where you'll use your clinical knowledge to support patients, coordinate care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this role, you’ll answer phones, schedule appointments, manage medical records, and help keep daily office operations running smoothly. You’ll also assist with coordinating unit activities and supporting patient care.

Requirements
- Medical Assistant Certification required
- Completion of a Medical Assistant training program preferred
- Six months of medical office experience and/or training preferred

Pay
The pay range for this position is $20.68 to $25.10 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
