Join Peachtree Immediate Care – Georgia’s leading urgent care provider – as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in the Loganville region. This full-time, regional float position offers a structured schedule and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, patient-centered environment.
About the role
This position is ideal for a skilled and compassionate healthcare professional who thrives in a fast-paced urgent care setting. You’ll provide top-quality care, assist medical providers, and support a variety of clinical tasks across multiple locations in Monroe, Loganville, and Snellville.
Schedule
- Full-time, 3x12-hour shifts (8 am – 8 pm)
- Rotating weekends
- Regional float position (travel between locations required)
Responsibilities
- Assist medical providers with patient care, exams, and minor procedures
- Perform vital signs, document patient information, and maintain accurate medical records
- Conduct lab tests, administer medications, and provide wound care as directed
- Maintain exam rooms and medical equipment in a clean, safe condition
- Support occupational health services and radiographic imaging where applicable
- Ensure patient comfort, answer questions, and address concerns
- Follow safety and infection control protocols
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (certification preferred) or licensed as an LPN or EMT
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification (required)
- Reliable transportation for travel between regional locations
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work in a team
- Comfort in a fast-paced urgent care setting with varied medical responsibilities
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel)
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in an outpatient or clinical setting (preferred but not required)
