Medical Assistant/Clinical Service Specialist, Part-Time- Beachwood & Mentor, OH

About the role

VIVO Infusion is seeking a Medical Assistant/Clinical Service Specialist to support our clinical operations in Beachwood & Mentor, OH. You will provide essential support to our medical team, patients, and the infusion center.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients, updates patient charts, communicates patient data to providers and nurses.
• Supports administrative tasks: greets patients, schedules appointments, processes payments, and manages phone calls.
• Ensures efficient exam room turnover, assists providers in the exam room, collects and prepares lab specimens, obtains prior authorizations, and manages supplies.
• Triage patient phone calls and documents them appropriately.
• Follows company policies and CDC guidelines for infection control.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required prior to start date.
• One year of experience in a clinical environment.
• One year in an administrative, patient-facing, or customer service role.
• Phlebotomy and lab processing skills preferred.

Skills

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer skills for electronic recordkeeping.
• Effective communication and reporting patient issues.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and company policies.

Pay

$20.00 - $25.00/hour, with a bonus plan target of 5% annually based on performance.

Schedule

Part-time: 20-25 hours/week
Position Schedule: Thursday - Friday | 7:30am - 4:00pm
Saturdays | 7:30am - 4:00pm
