Responsibilities
- Serves as a Clinical Partner with Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, and Care Management Teams
- Coordinates daily travel itinerary and transports clinicians to scheduled appointments
- Prepares patients for examination and treatment; may include preparing patients for minor procedures
- Sets up patient care as directed by Clinicians, company standards, and policies
- Documents patient care accurately and in a timely manner
- Identifies and closes quality gaps in patient care
- Updates patient care plans and SDoH (Social Determinants of Health) assessments in the patient chart or electronic medical record
- Maintains compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA guidelines
- Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatment
- Ensures company vehicle is clean and follows a proper maintenance schedule
- Attends required meetings and in-services
Qualifications
- High School graduate or GED equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, EMT, or related medical education/training program
- One year of experience serving as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist
- Current CPR certification meeting Company guidelines
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Basic computer literacy, including EMR, iPad, and GPS experience
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Desire and ability to obtain MA certification within 180 days of hire
