Medical Assistant - Clinic Resource Team

About the role

Pali Momi Medical Center is a 118-bed facility serving the communities of Central and West O'ahu. It offers a wide range of services, including an interventional cardiac catheterization unit, a minimally invasive surgical suite, a women's center, and advanced imaging technologies like CT scans and MRIs. The hospital also features a unique team triage system in its emergency room and a Resource Team that provides flexible clinical and nursing support across various departments.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of patient care activities in the Resource Team department
• Provide compassionate health services to patients and their families
• Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Participate in ongoing education and training programs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Medical Assistant Program and/or equivalent experience
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), ABR-OE from AAMA, RMA from AMT, NCMA from NCCT, RMA from ARMA, NRCMA from NAHP, CMAC from AMCA, CCMA from NHA, or Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) from NAHP
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Card
• Ability to complete departmental competency assessment by the end of the orientation period
