Responsibilities
- Provides clinical, clerical, and administrative tasks in an OMP outpatient clinic under the supervision and direction of a provider (physician or advanced practice clinician) or Medical Office Nurse Coordinator.
- Performs duties consistent with Medical Assistant education, training, experience and certification.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Completion of Medical Assistant program accredited or approved by the Washington Department of Health required.
- One year of experience in health care in an outpatient clinic preferred (experience specific to the type of clinic being hired for is preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.
- Current Medical Assistant – Certification issued by the WA State Department of Health.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma/GED required. Completion of Medical Assistant program accredited or approved by the Washington Department of Health required.
- Licensure/Credentials: Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire. Current Medical Assistant – Certification issued by the WA State Department of Health.

Pay
Pay Range: $24.01 - $35.44
Schedule
- Union SEIU 1199-Service and Dietary Shift Differentials/Premiums.
- Weekend & Holiday Shifts: Yes.
- Shift Differentials: Evening - $3.00/hour, Night - $5.00/hour, Weekend - $4.50/hour.
- Premiums: Per Diem - 15% (on rate of pay, in lieu of benefits).
- Lead - $3.25/hour, On-Call - $3.00/hour, Preceptor - $1.50/hour, Trainer - $1.50/hour.
