About the role

The Certified/Registered Medical Assistant role involves providing routine administrative and clinical support to ensure smooth office operations in a medical practice.

Responsibilities

• patient rooming and information collection
• telephone communication
• administrative tasks such as scheduling, authorizations, and referrals
• clinical procedures like catheterizations, wound care, immunizations, and point-of-care testing
• patient education and medication administration
• assisting with provider procedures and documentation
• obtaining vital signs and managing medication reconciliations
• supporting in-office procedures and completing forms

Qualifications

• certification as a CMA, CCMA, RMA, NRCMA, or similar
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days
• high school diploma or GED
