Medical Assistant Certified - Pediatric Multi Specialty

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants in providing superior medical care.
• Makes accurate data entries for patient registration and insurance verification.
• Verifies insurance and records statistics as needed.
• Schedules patient appointments, answers phones, keeps providers informed of changes, and informs patients about their benefits.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• One year of medical office experience preferred
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
• BLS certification required
