About the role
A Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) who excels in this role:
- Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office.
- Takes vital signs, documents patient history, and updates electronic health records (EHR).
- Assists providers with exams, procedures, and administering medications or injections.
- Performs basic lab tasks, prepares specimens, and maintains clean, stocked exam rooms.
- Supports front office and patient care coordination, including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient education.

Requirements
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) and completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred.
- CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification required.
- Current BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
- At least 6 months of experience as a Medical Assistant is required.
- Previous phlebotomy experience is preferred.
