Medical Assistant, Certified (CMA) - Pain & Spine

About the role

This full-time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) position supports the Pain & Spine department at Centerpoint - Winchester, formerly Clark Regional Medical Center. The role offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus with a 6-month commitment.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

Responsibilities

• Perform routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office
• Take vital signs, document patient history, and update electronic health records (EHR)
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and administering medications or injections
• Perform basic lab tasks, prepare specimens, and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms
• Support front office and patient care coordination, including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient education

Requirements

• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred
• CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification required
• Current BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
