About the role

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to perform routine clinical and administrative duties in support of our Gastroenterology & Hepatology department.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, document patient history, and update electronic health records (EHR)
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and administering medications or injections
• Perform basic lab tasks, prepare specimens, and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms
• Support front office and patient care coordination, including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient education

Requirements

• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred
• CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification required
• Current BLS certification required within 30 days of hire

Pay

$1,000 sign-on bonus with a 6-month commitment.

Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm EST.
