Medical Assistant Certified - Cardiology

Responsibilities

• Accurate data entry for patient registration and insurance verification.
• Assisting the physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants in providing superior medical care.
• Absorbing and accurately recording statistics.
• Aiding in scheduling patient appointments, answering phones, keeping providers informed of changes, and informing patients of their benefits.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year of medical office experience preferred.
• Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is required.
• BLS required.
