About the role
Support patient care and clinic operations by assisting providers, performing clinical tasks, managing patient flow, and handling administrative duties.
Responsibilities
- Assist providers during patient visits
- Perform vital signs, administer injections, conduct EKGs, blood draws, and ear lavage
- Manage patient flow and update schedules
- Handle front office activities and report test results
- Schedule appointments, manage medical records, and process insurance claims
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
- Deliver exceptional customer service
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent military training
- Active Washington State Medical Assistant Certified licensure (or Interim MA-C with a goal to obtain full certification within 6 months)
- BLS-RQI certification required
- Six months of customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of insurance concepts and one year of Medical Assistant experience are a plus
- Passion for patient care and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
