Certified Nursing Assistant

Location: Williamsport, IN | Facility: ASV Williamsport | Department/Specialty: MedSurg

About the role

Assist patients with daily living activities, transfers, and medical procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Monitor patient safety, maintain orderly rooms, and report changes in patient conditions to the nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patients/participants care activities.
• Assist with procedures ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Accommodate patients/participants with personal care, activities of daily living, and transfers/transport.
• Report findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Assist with keeping patients/participants rooms clean and orderly.
• Monitor patients/participants environment for safety hazards and emergency situations; initiate corrective action as needed.

Requirements

• Nurse Aide credential from the Indiana Board of Nursing (required prior to hire).
• BLS Provider certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross; required within 1 month of hire).
• High School diploma or equivalency or 1 year of applicable job-specific experience.
• Required licensure/certification may substitute for education or experience, if applicable.

Schedule

Full time | Nights | 6:30pm to 7am; alternating weekends and holidays.
