Duties/Responsibilities
- Welcome members upon arrival and help them feel safe and at home, navigating through a seamless and clear check-in process
- Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals for a multi-disciplinary care team
- Update member information in the electronic medical records system
- Request medical records and upload documentation to electronic medical records system
- Conduct intake with patients, measuring and recording vital signs, patient interview, and medical history; perform examinations and routine screenings, ensuring patients are informed and all questions and concerns are addressed for each procedure
- Critically listen and engage with patients throughout appointment, ensuring needs and/or changing in patient conditions are reported to PCP, specialists, and/or other clinical personnel
- Absorb and adapt to a variety of roles within the clinic, supporting both front office and direct patient care activities
- Assist with center events, as needed

- Ability to work effectively with various seniorities and diverse populations including staff, providers, members, family members, insurance carriers, vendors and market leadership
- Strong communicator that is customer-oriented
- Excellent critical reasoning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills to analyze situations, determine risks, and find solutions to prevent future issues and resolve recurring defects
- Experience with claims/quality reports and analytical software packages
- Proficient PC Skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to maintain professionalism and flexibility in a changing work environment
- Fluency in - languages spoken by our people in the communities we serve (where necessary)
Education And Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent education (GED) required
- Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program OR comparable healthcare vocational training (i.e., foreign-trained physician, paramedic, etc.) required
- A minimum of 1 year work experience as a Medical Assistant preferred, but not required
- 6+ months phlebotomy experience is highly desired
- BLS for Healthcare Providers required
- EClinicalWorks or similar EMR experience
- Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus
