Medical Assistant - Cardiology

About the Role

The Medical Assistant I (MA I) supports licensed practitioners by performing clinical and administrative duties to provide basic patient care, in line with policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care tasks such as obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration.
• Perform administrative duties to support clinic operations.
• Ensure compliance with established procedures and safety standards.
• Contribute to a patient-focused, respectful, and inclusive care environment.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited medical assisting program, registered medical assistant apprenticeship, or military medical training, or have relevant work experience.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• National Medical Assistant Certification.
• Experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
