Responsibilities

Perform a wide variety of patient care activities for clients of all ages
Work closely with physicians and medical staff to provide comprehensive health services
Ensure prompt and thorough evaluations of patients by emergency physicians
Support the provision of high-quality health care to the community

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a Medical Assistant Program or equivalent experience
Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Card
Ability to complete departmental competency assessment within the orientation period

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a Medical Assistant Program or equivalent experience
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), ABR-OE from AAMA, RMA from AMT, NCMA from NCCT, RMA from ARMA, NRCMA from NAHP, CMAC from AMCA, CCMA from NHA
Ability to complete departmental competency assessment by conclusion of orientation period

Skills

Detail-oriented, attentive, strong communications and patient care skills.
