Medical Assistant (Bilingual - Spanish)

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our neurology team. The ideal candidate will assist neurologists and healthcare providers with patient examinations, neurological testing, and clinical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient information
• Prepare patients for diagnostic testing
• Assist with clinical procedures
• Administer medications as permitted
• Provide patient education

Requirements

• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a clinical setting; neurology experience preferred
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) highly preferred
• Knowledge of neurological terminology, procedures, and patient care protocols
• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and standard Microsoft Office applications
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide compassionate care to patients with complex neurological conditions
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Pay

$21/hr

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
