Medical Assistant (Bilingual - Spanish)

We’re seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Bilingual (English/Spanish) Medical Assistant to support a community health clinic serving pediatric and general practice patients. Responsibilities

• Greet and room pediatric and adult patients (English/Spanish)
• Obtain/document vitals and histories
• Assist providers during exams and procedures
• Administer injections/immunizations and perform point-of-care testing as directed
• Complete venipuncture/blood draws and specimen handling
• Document accurately in the EMR
• Maintain clean/stocked exam rooms
• Support scheduling/referrals and patient follow-up
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and smooth patient flow

Requirements

• Medical Assistant certification (current)
• BLS certification (current)
• 1+ year Medical Assistant experience in a fast-paced clinic/medical office
• Bilingual English/Spanish (spoken and written)
• Comfortable administering injections/immunizations (peds + adults)
• Strong venipuncture/blood draw skills

Qualifications

• Experience in Pediatrics and/or Family Medicine / General Practice / OB-GYN
• Community Health Clinic / FQHC experience
• EMR experience
• Solid knowledge of medical terminology and infection control best practices

Benefits

• Referral bonus: earn up to $500 per referral (no limit on number of referrals or amount earned; open to anyone)
