Overview
Medical Assistant ($1,500 Sign on Bonus)
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Medical Provider to provide supportive patient care and perform tasks as delegated.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Perform medical support tasks, such as drug screen collections, diagnostic testing, preparing specimens, injections, and blood draws.
- Perform administrative support tasks such as answering phones, checking in and outpatients, filing, and record processing.
Qualifications
- A High School Degree is preferred.
- Enrollment in a Medical Assistant, Certified Nurse Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, Nursing, or related program.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills in both verbal and written form.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, leadership, time management, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work positively among diverse groups of individuals promoting a “TEAM” environment and “Leads by Example.”
- Preferred bilingual in Spanish / English.
