Job Summary
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team and perform a variety of clinical, administrative, clerical and creative duties in an ambulatory setting.
Responsibilities
- Schedule patient appointments
- Obtain and verify patient insurance authorizations
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical equipment
- Assist physicians with basic medical care and procedures
- Auxiliary with social media marketing efforts and content creation
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or High School Equivalency (GED) is required.
- A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have successfully completed a Medical Assistant Program and earned related Certificate, Diploma, or Associate Degree.
- Preference will be given to candidates interested in a long-term employment.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Professional appearance.
- Computer literate (PC and Mac)
- Punctual
- Professional conduct and work-ethics
- Energetic and upbeat
Compensation
$30.00 - $45.00 per hour
