Responsibilities

  • Interview patients to gather medical history and update medical records
  • Gather basic vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, height, weight, and pulse
  • Prepare treatment rooms and patients for exam
  • Verify patient information
  • Assist with in-office procedures
  • Schedule the patient’s next appointment
  • Manage medical supplies and materials
  • Work with their operational leader to order necessary inventory
  • Take x-rays
  • Perform administrative tasks
  • Become cross-trained on front desk responsibilities to provide support when needed

Requirements

  • 2 years' experience as a Medical Assistant
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Committed to continuous performance improvement
  • Patient-focused with the ability to work independently
  • Capability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • Scheduling: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
