Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake procedures, including measuring vital signs, documenting medical history, and verifying medication lists.
- Assist healthcare professionals with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean, stocked, and organized.
- Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and preventive measures.
- Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Auxiliary with medical administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
- X-Ray certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient service.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills to manage administrative tasks effectively.
Pay
The Pay Range For This Role Is 22 - 24 USD per hour(LAOSS- Glendale).
