About the role
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team at UNC Health Blue Ridge. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients, assist with examinations and treatments, perform administrative tasks, and help maintain a safe and clean environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the examination and treatment of patients
- Perform administrative and clerical duties
- Aid in patient scheduling
- Document patient information accurately
- Interact with patients to ensure a positive experience
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Medical Office Assistant Program, Clinical Medical Assistant Program, Registered Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician Program
- Current certification as a CMA, CCMA, RMA, EMT-Intermediate, or EMT-Paramedic
- All certificates must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment
