About the role
We are seeking a Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Paramedic to join our dedicated team at UNC Health Blue Ridge. This position involves providing high-quality care to patients, assisting in examinations and treatments, performing administrative tasks, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and supporting patient scheduling and interactions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in patient examinations and treatments
- Perform administrative and clerical duties
- Maintain a safe and clean patient environment
- Aid with patient scheduling and documentation
- Interact with patients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Medical Office Assistant Program, Clinical Medical Assistant Program, Registered Medical Assistant, or Emergency Medical Technician Program
- Current certification as a CMA, CCMA, RMA, EMT-Intermediate, or EMT-Paramedic
- All certificates must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment
