Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
Pay: $18-$19.50/hour
About the Role
The Medical Assistant supports providers by performing clinical and administrative duties with a focus on patient triage, care coordination, and efficient patient flow under the direction of a physician or Clinical Director.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intake and medical history documentation in the EMR
- Communicate with patients, providers, and pharmacies
- Prepare exam rooms and ensure all labs, reports, and patient information are available prior to visits
- Maintain clean, stocked, and compliant exam rooms; follow infection control and safety protocols
- Manage logs (e.g., temperatures, medications, equipment checks) and ensure regulatory compliance
- Support scheduling, documentation, and medical record accuracy while maintaining patient confidentiality
Qualifications & Skills
- CMA certification preferred but not required
- Strong triage and patient care skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Proficient in EMR systems
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
Pay
$18-$19.50/hour
