About the role
A thriving, paperless LGBT health and wellness practice in West Hollywood is seeking a medical assistant to support the current nursing and medical provider team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of medical assistant experience, including managing an office, assisting providers with procedures and visits, IV management, injections, patient check-ins and outs, performing EKGs, handling phones, scheduling appointments, and more. The position requires quick adaptation to the company’s systems and ability to work with multiple providers.

Schedule
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Qualifications
- Licenses/Certifications: BLS Certification (preferred), Medical Assistant Certification (preferred)
- Experience: EMR systems (1 year preferred), Vital signs (1 year preferred), starting and stopping IV (3 years preferred), medical assistant (5 years preferred), office management (3 years preferred)
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Ability to relocate: Relocate to West Hollywood, CA 90046 before starting work (required)
