Job Description

The Medical Assistant facilitates patient care by assisting patient through system. Supports clinical staff and maintain office environment.

Qualifications

  • Education: Successful completion of Medical Assistant program or comparable work experience in a medical office.
  • Experience: Two years of work experience in similar job or work environment is preferred.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform routine administrative and patient care supportive duties throughout the practice to assist medical and/or nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients.
  • Prepare and deliver patient and record for clinical exchange in a manner that increases efficiency for patient and clinical team.
  • Function as a team member by expanding responsibilities as directed by management to facilitate optimal workflow within the cancer center.
  • May be pulled to work at other CHC sites based on clinic and patient needs.
  • All other duties as assigned.
