Medical Assistant

About the role

This role will support one of our new clinics opening this fall (anticipated October 1, 2026). The expected start date for this position will fall between August 25 and September 8, 2026, allowing time for onboarding and hands-on training at our Hudson and Spring Hill clinics prior to opening.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vitals, medical histories, and medication lists
• Prep patients for their exam so the provider can focus on care
• Handle the hands-on clinical work
• Administer medications, injections, and treatments as directed by the provider
• Draw blood and run basic lab tests
• Perform EKGs and PFTs
• Keep records and scheduling tight
• Document accurately in the EMR and keep patient records clean
• Cover follow-up appointments to keep care on track
• Answer patient questions promptly with concierge-level support
• Partner with providers and staff to create seamless patient experiences
• Pitch in to help cover other areas of the clinic when the team needs you

Requirements

• 3+ years as a medical assistant, ideally in a primary care setting
• Confidence with vitals, blood draws, EKGs, and basic labs
• Strong communication skills that build trust with patients and teammates
• The ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced clinic
• Composure and professionalism when things get busy
• A genuine warmth and a concierge-level approach to senior care

Qualifications

• Must be certified as a Medical Assistant (CMA)
• Fluency in both English and Spanish preferred
