About the role

Sentara MJH Medical Group Admin Offices is seeking a Medical Assistant non-certified in Charlottesville, VA!

Schedule

• 32 hrs/week
• Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM
• Most shifts will be 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Primarily a clinical MA role
• Cross-train and support front-desk duties as needed
• Float between practices as needed based on staffing demands

Coverage Area

Supports 10 Primary Care practices across the Charlottesville/Waynesboro market.

Qualifications

• One year of clinical/administrative experience required
• Phlebotomy experience preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Certification must be received within nine months of employment in one of the following programs:
  • CCMA – Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
  • CMA – Certified Medical Assistant
  • RMA – Registered Medical Assistant
  • EMT – Emergency Medical Technician
• BLS required within 90 days of hire
