Medical Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team. Your job will be to provide welcoming care to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and determine the nature of their visit
• Obtain vitals and maintain thorough, concise chart documentation
• Provide clear communication between patients and providers
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

• The ability to work with people from all walks of life and meet them in their place of need
• Current Medical Assistant Certificate required
• Medical Assistants not certified/registered upon hire must complete certification/registration testing within 3 months of hire; an additional 3 months may be granted to retake the test if needed. Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment
• Medical Assistants without formal training must have a current Certification/Registration as a Medical Assistant
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Successful completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program, a minimum of 6 months in length, is preferred
• Previous healthcare experience is preferred but not required
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Pay

$21 to $28.50 per hour

Schedule

Monday to Friday – 8 am to 5 pm
