The Medical Assistant position at Riverside Medical Clinic is responsible for providing support to healthcare providers in various medical settings.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient registration and check-in procedures
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Collect and record patient health information accurately
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment for patient visits
- Provide basic patient education and health counseling
- Handle billing and insurance inquiries
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR certification
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of electronic health records systems
