Role: Medical Assistant responsible for supporting healthcare providers in patient examinations and treatments. Perform patient intake, including gathering medical history and verifying information.Document vital signs and maintain accurate electronic medical records.Assist providers during exams and procedures, performing point-of-care tests as certified.Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and supplies, adhering to safety and legal standards.Provide exceptional patient service with sensitivity, cooperation, and professionalism.Conduct pre-visit planning, manage logs, and address voicemails and electronic inbox messages.Support front office tasks such as check-in, check-out, scheduling, and phone duties when needed.Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain professional relationships with vendors. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or GED required; healthcare program graduate (Medical Assistant, CNA, LPN, EMT) or equivalent experience.Strong computer skills; EMR experience preferred.Current BLS certification; CMA certification preferred.1-3 years of experience in family or pediatric care preferred.Excellent communication, active listening, and empathy skills. Working Conditions & Other Details: Standing, reaching, and handling materials frequently; occasional lifting up to 25+ pounds; vision requirements include close and distance focus.
