What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Serve as a welcoming first point of contact for patients and caregivers, addressing inquiries through various communication channels
- Assist with patient onboarding, eligibility, enrollment, and resource navigation
- Support care coordination, including insurance verification, prior authorizations, and medication reconciliation
- Monitor and triage shared inboxes, coordinating appointment scheduling and resolution of inquiries
- Conduct outreach and follow-up calls to ensure patient engagement and continuity of care
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Medical Assistant certification or equivalent healthcare experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare, care coordination, patient navigation, or customer-facing healthcare support roles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- High level of proficiency with technology, including electronic health records and telehealth platforms
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience working with older adults, dementia, caregiving, or chronic disease management
- Familiarity with Medicare and insurance verification processes
- Experience in care management or population health
- Bilingual language skills
- Experience in a virtual healthcare or telehealth environment
