About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for our Rochester Hills office. We are willing to train candidates with relevant medical experience.
Responsibilities
- Assists the physician in creating a quality patient encounter
- Check-in/out, registers Telehealth, chart-prep etc.
- Utilizes EMR systems; sends prescription refill requests, sends notifications for new pharmacies and physicians, and manages charts
- Schedules appointments
Requirements
- Professional that is committed to teamwork and understands the value of compassionate care
- Prior experience in Medical Assistant role
- Proficient time management, prioritization, judgment, decision making and organizational skills
- Able to work in fast paced environment and as part of a team
