About the Role

The Medical Assistant is a vital role in supporting patients throughout their fertility journey. We are seeking compassionate, detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a Medical Assistant you will assist with procedures, provide education, and support the multidisciplinary team, ensuring every patient receives exceptional care at every step of their path to parenthood.

This is a full-time, onsite position with a Sunday–Thursday schedule. Working hours are 7:00 AM–11:00 AM on Sundays and 6:30 AM–3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check-in patients, verify medical history, and update their information.
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
  • Perform diagnostic tasks such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering injections.
  • Prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are stocked and ready.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, including follow-ups and referrals.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medication protocols, and preventive care measures.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety standards to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Assist with inventory management and clinical supply ordering.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Perform other duties and support special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification from an accredited Medical Assisting program.
  • Phlebotomy certification strongly recommended.
  • Maintain current BLS certification.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Fertility or women's health experience is a plus.

Skills

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to empathize with patients.

Pay

Hourly Rate: $22.00-$25.00 per hour (final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
