Medical Assistant

Nature of Work:The Medical Assistants primary responsibility is the implementation of medical/health related tasks as directed and overseen by the RN Clinical Coordinator of Day Services and Program Manager. The Habilitation Aide is responsible for the implementation of each individuals Individualized Program Plan as determined by the individual and his/her Service Planning Team. This includes, but is not limited to: assisting with personal hygiene, dining, ambulating, transportation, behavioral support, and overall health and well being of the individual. The Habilitation Aide meets regularly with their supervisor and confers with other members of the individuals Service Planning Team to ensure services are appropriate and meet with expressed (or implied) needs, likes, and choices of the individual.
