Position Title: Medical Assistant
Optima Medical, Prescott, Arizona, United States

• Care for more than 200,000 patients statewide
• Full spectrum of services including cardiovascular health services, behavioral health, allergy testing and immunotherapy, in-house lab testing, imaging, chronic disease management, and other specialty health services

Job Responsibilities

• Record patient information such as vital signs, weight, and changes in medical history
• Clean and prepare exam rooms prior to/following patient appointments
• Able to perform various medical procedures such as EKG, PFT, Ear Lavage etc.
• Administer injections and take blood draws
• Aid with patient scheduling, follow up, and provider charting as needed

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of clinical work experience as a Medical Assistant
• At least 1 year of EMR experience; eClinicalWorks preferred
• High level of professionalism
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Diploma or CMA designation required
